Mais, là où Thadashi Ono recherchait une transparence du signifiant, il s'agit ici par la rigueur de I'acte photographique de bouleverser le sens, d'introduire une tansparence de lecture qui laisse sous la noirceur du trait percer la gravure. A propos de Francis Ponge, Denis Roche rappelait" qu'il avait lutté "contre I'opacité du visible, contre I'opacité du fourmillant réel, presque contre les couleurs qui en rajoutent sur cet opaque". Le peintre, dans sa rencontre avec la photographie, semble aussi venir y prendre "le parti pris des choses". L’ambigruté de taitement de son support en s'exergant à produire un noir et blanc sans valeur de gris intermediaires, poursuit cette transparence de la vacuite du sens de l'objet. A propos d'une récente sé6rie d'Andreas Müller Phöle, *Signa", qui conceme aussi des relevés urbains effectués au Polaroid, avec une prolongation du temps chimique de développement, Karl Aigner considère : "ces marques urbaines comme points critiques ou le visible devient invisible (et vice versa) ". Dans les deux œuvres qui nous intéressent, sa lecture d'un degré zéro de la perception s'applique et se prolonge aussi par la création "d'images vestiges, d'images endogènes"". S'il existe une transparence photographique, ce n'est donc certes pas celle du mé6dium qui produirait de I'objectivité. Il reste au conoaire tres présent dans son processus et influe sur l'instance de nomination. La tansparence est celle qui s'appuie sur la force de l'inconscient technologique pour reporter medium et supports sur leurs marges, li ou d'autres pratiques, dessin ou gravure, viennent pervertir sens et leccture en une expérience de dé-nomination.
