"Cul en l'air" in the most significant titles from the previous Festival editions of Split Film Festival.
To celebrate its 20th edition, Split Film Festival has decided to screen a selection of the most significant titles from the previous editions, in the course of 19 weeks before this year’s Festival.
By commemorating one edition per week, the idea is to use the 19-week run to remember the two decennia of the Festival and, thus, of the most important advances on the international film scene. Among the auteurs whose films shall be screened are the following: Bela Tarr, Lars von Trier, Chris Marker, Tom Tykwer, Jean-Luc Godard, Sally Potter, Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Albert Serra, Bruce McDonald, Julio Bressane, Glauber Rocha, Sergei Loznitsa, Avi Mograbi, Raya Martin, Antoine d’Agata, György Pálfi, Miklós Jancsó, José Padilha, Jonas Mekas, Naomi Kawase, with many others.
